CO alarm standards know when you are protected

“Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.”
Henry Van Dyke (1852-1933, bio link)

Measurement trumps guesswork, reduces speculation & misapplications

There is no excuse for health care provider ignorance of knowing what the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning are and when presented, how to respond. Patients who are presenting symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning to the health care provider should be tested immediately upon presentation. They should not be sent home without testing. What is the value in not testing?

Why wait for the death or injury from carbon monoxide to occur before taking action? If you are responsible for the air you breathe, start measuring the air you are in at home, in motor vehicles, in public places and especially in places you enter to service or work. Find out what the notification or evacuation levels are for carbon monoxide in air and respond accordingly. Due diligence and duty requires announcing health and safety concerns to the occupants and/or owners of the space.
