CO alarm standards know when you are protected

“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.” Chief Seattle (1786 – 1866, bio link)

Carbon monoxide poisoning prevention requires measurement.
Reduce the concentration of CO generated at combustion sources.
Measure & monitor the air that people are in continuously.
Educate the people who will be in the space monitored about CO.
Measure the COHb level of people presenting symptoms.
Alert people to the presence of the poison before they get sick.
Evacuate before illness and fix or eliminate the generating source.
Learn from our mistakes.
