“So now you’d better stop and rebuild all your ruins, for peace and trust can win the day, despite all your losing.”
"Immigrant Song" - Led Zeppelin - music link lyrics at lyrics.com

Do not take a day off from protecting yourself and others from carbon monoxide poisoning. This poison only takes a day off when all the fires are out and I mean all of them. Since combustion rules our lives from cooking, heating water, generating electricity, moving us on land, air and water, keeping us warm when we are cold, and pleasuring us with mechanical sports and in other ways, we know carbon monoxide doesn’t take a day off. Protect yourself, please. Bob Dwyer, CSME Carbon Monoxide Safety

The lowest U.L. 2034 & CSA 6.19 carbon monoxide alarm test point is:
- 70 PPM to 149 PPM – resist one hour, must alarm before 4 hours
Please read the alarm information on the package and in the instructions. Know when your fire department and emergency responders begin wearing their breathing apparatus and what their civilian evacuation levels are for carbon monoxide; it may be before 70 PPM. It is for pregnant women, infants & children, the elderly and all people of vulnerable health. Bob Dwyer, CSME Carbon Monoxide Safety

Minnesota Department of Commerce

SAINT PAUL, MN – Each year about 50,000 people visit emergency rooms in the United States for CO poisoning, and more than 500 die each year from this silent, odorless, colorless gas. As part of Winter Hazard Awareness Week (November 5-9), the Minnesota Department of Commerce warns Minnesotans of the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning and to take steps to avoid this “silent killer.”
