What are the symptoms of CO poisoning?
CO poisoning mimics many common illnesses,  such as food poisoning. It is most frequently misdiagnosed as a flu-like syndrome. Always consult with your health care provider; ask questions and get answers.

The following is a list of common symptoms.
· headaches · loss of hearing · dizziness · depression · blurry vision
· cardiac arrest · disorientation· respiratory failure · weakness
· vomiting · coma · painful discomfort · loss of consciousness ·muscle aches,
· soreness · memory disorders · seizures · nausea · rapid heartbeat
· chronic tiredness · slurry speech · additional symptoms of illnesses

This list is not meant to serve as a diagnosis  of carbon monoxide poisoning. It is meant to provide general information on known poisoning symptoms. Oxidative stress causes a chain reaction in the body due to the interruption of oxygen intake. Get out and stay out of CO atmosphere’s.

If you have symptoms of CO poisoning, get tested  by your health care provider as soon as possible. Be prepared though, they might not even be giving carbon monoxide a thought as a possible cause of your symptoms.

Carbon monoxide is easily measured in people  with non-invasive (no blood work) procedures that effectively reduce diagnosis time and inaugurates oxygen treatments and therapy expeditiously. Be prepared though, many health care providers may be unaware of the relationship between many of the symptoms presented to them and carbon monoxide exposure. Testing of patients for elevated carboxyhemoglobin levels will increase awareness. Bob Dwyer, CSME Carbon Monoxide Safety
