All responders should wear personal carbon monoxide monitors on every 911 building entry. Please do not enter buildings unprotected from carbon monoxide. We cannot afford to harm or lose those that are trying to save and assist us. The use of personal CO monitors has also been known to aid in the random discovery of automotive leaks that put those that spend hours of time driving or in idled traffic at risk from being poisoned and affected by various carbon monoxide levels.
