When the carbon monoxide detector beeped on Sunday at the Sturtz household in the Shoreland Heights neighborhood, suddenly it all made sense. It all began the Monday before. Lisa had severe migraines and felt sick to her stomach. ... COSA NOTE and question: These victims had an alarm and it sounded off. They had been experiencing migraines and other symptoms for over a week before the alarm sounded. A low level carbon monoxide alarm would have alerted them to the symptom causing and undetected levels that they experienced, but would they have gotten their furnace looked at if they did not have any symptoms when the alarm sounded?
