Monroe County - A Monroe County woman is traveling to Harrisburg today to testify about the need for carbon monoxide detectors in homes. Watt has been working to educate families about the dangers of the "Silent Killer" and the importance of installing carbon monoxide alarms.

Watt started the "Four Friends Memorial" in honor of her 19-year-old brother and his three friends, who also died of carbon monoxide poisoning caused by a gas generator. It would require multifamily homes, such as apartments, to be equipped with an alarm, as well.
