Continuing Education; Are You?
Prevent carbon monoxide poisoning to yourself and others and get certified; to be certified, you must measure. Prove it to yourself and others.

Your time spent in a training class can be measured. Your memory can be measured through written exams. Your performance can be measured in front of an evaluator. To be truly certified for carbon monoxide safety, you must perform carbon monoxide safety by measurement every day, to the levels of your responsibility.  At minimum, be responsible for measuring & knowing the air you breathe.

Measure carbon monoxide for safety and knowledge. The more you test the more you learn. Measurement is continuing education at its best. Bob Dwyer, CSME Carbon Monoxide Safety

You can learn about carbon monoxide by reading about it. Reading is a beginning and may help increase awareness, but measurement is defining.

I have been asked many times at the end of one of my presentations by an attendee, “Am I certified now? Do I get a certificate?”

My answer may include these statements, “If you want to be certified, you must measure. Your time spent in a training class can be measured. Your memory can be measured through written exams. Your performance can be measured in front of an evaluator. To be truly measured for carbon monoxide safety, you must perform carbon monoxide safety and measure every day to the levels of your responsibility. Who is responsible for the air you breathe?”
